Details anecdotes of student days of the speaker's mother, Mary Wilson Wallace, Linfield College class of 1924, who slid down the bannisters of Pioneer Hall, and the speaker's uncle, Arthur K. Wilson, class of 1925, who captured an owl and placed it on President Rilyey's chair minutes before chapel and also who, with other students, pulled a cow up onto the bell tower of Pioneer Hall.
